Beautifully done! This was such an impactful documentary. One of the many things it brings to the forefront is 'how can we use our voices, our position as physicians to impact the BMWC movement?' I think we can at the medical school I work at- in the admissions process, by implicit bias training of those interviewing prospective students, and by examining both our outreach to young black students as well as our process for holistic review. This film has given me a lot to reflect on, and then act on.

I am a pediatrician and interact with children everyday I am in clinic. I learned a great deal from this documentary- in fact was moved by the issues exposed in this documentary. I am a white person. How can I move to being part of the solution?

This movie is both a wonderful exposition on the critical problem of too few black male physicians in this country and a powerful inspiration to those who can and will work to change it.

This documentary was an eye opener for me as a white physician. It has always been my belief that all young children no matter what their race may be, have opportunities to strive to what they want to be as an adult, however, there are many obstacles that I never considered that contribute to stand in the way of those minorities that are contributory in preventing or diverting those individuals from achieving specific goals. This documentary film broadened my horizons in considering other factors for minorities to overcome those barriers.
