Heart wrenching and inspiring. As a medical educator at a medical school, I now have more knowledge that will help me push for more work to be done. I want to do more. My demographics are such (white woman, PhD not MD) that I can't do many of the things suggested by the movie. But I can definitely strive to do more and this has given me some ideas. I am very glad to have watched and I truly applaud the BMWC organization!

As a white woman who became an NP v.s. an MD like my Dad, I was very sad but hopeful to watch this important documentary. It covered not only the immediate issue of not having role model black MD's but also the issues surrounding the evolution of this issue. I feel the community, schools, places of worship all have a part in promoting black doctors. Mentoring is huge, even at the elementary school level which is one of my short term goals when I retire. I feel the schools need role model programs to show career paths which are possible for all. This documentary and the summit held will help catalyst the movement. Thanks for the opportunity to watch this!
