I think this documentary is extremely important. More people should be watching this because we need to do something about people of color not being represented in the medical field.
This was amazing! Well put together. How I wished I would have had this available when my son was younger. Glad to have the ability to share this with him today at 17 years before he starts his next chapter. THANK YOU!
Thank you for making this availalble.
This documentary is one of the most well-made pieces of film I have ever seen. The vitality of all those interviewed, the focus on tangible goals and solutions was nothing short of transformational. The last part with Trip had me in tears, and I am so grateful for this film, not only is it a must watch for all future physicians and medical schools, it's something we must be inspired by and turn into action. I have never felt so revitalized by a movement than this, the beginning of the film said it simply, if there are not more black people in medicine, then black people keep dying, and that is something that needs to change. We have to come together and combat these disparities by focusing on pipeline recruitment, healthcare delivery, and building culturally competent physicians who use their privilege to better the lives of their black patients. BEAUTIFUL work!
Hands down, one of the best movies I've ever seen. This should be shared with all young children of color. They need to know that a career in medicine is a viable option for them. THANK YOU for making this movie!
