I work at a medical university and I can attest to the fact that there aren't many black male students coming through the program. I love that this movement brings an awareness. I love that this movement gives voice to underserved communities. Keep going black men! We need you!

As a soon to be medical student, the documentary really spoke to me and allowed me to validate some of the major reason I want to pursue medicine: to help re-build the trust among African Americans and the medical community, to bridge healthcare disparities among communities of color, and to inspire those who look like me to pursue careers in healthcare. The documentary mentions several important conversations that I believe speak a lot toward the disparity we see among students of color entering healthcare. I also believe that is it through these continued conversations that we elicit change.

This documentary was well put together and a very interesting topic. I'm not an expert on this subject but I think all of the ideas/suggestions from the interviewees put together should work. They each bring up interesting points and raise great questions. To add, there needs to be movies and shows about black doctors to help attract more black men into the field.
I LOVED the soundtrack! Daniel Syllabus McMullan did a remarkable job! Great job Dr. Dale and team👏👏👏👏👏👏
