Thank you for this documentary about the need to get more black men in white coats and giving us a solution on how to make it happen. I was so inspired to see the diverse array of black men in white coats, young, older, preppie, mid-age and the average looking guy that could be my brother or nephew. I especially loved seeing the young black doctors that look just like my nephews. I wish I had seen more black doctors when they were younger. We really need to see it to achieve it! I truelly believe if there were more black men in white coats, more men would go to the doctor for regular check ups. I thank you so much for making this documentary, I wish I could show it to my family, especially my nephews!
This is such an important movement. The documentary presents these issues in a very thoughtful, inspiring, empowering, and solution-oriented way. Systemic racism in medicine must be disrupted by the stakeholders (e.g., medical schools, colleges), and action must be taken by all of us to place the needed pressure on such institutions.
Powerfully inspiring documentary that gives me hope for the next generation of black male excellence. I have step-son involved in this movement as a black male physician. Great reminder that it takes the whole community as well as systemic changes to address this particular National crisis in health.
This film was so amazing! It was informative and inspiring. It should be shown to everyone! Thank you for making this!
I love this movement! This was so powerful seeing all these black MDs. More black doctors will only strengthen the black community. We definitely need black men encouraging and educating black men about black male health issues. We need black men encouraging young black men to pursue higher education.
