I've been blessed enough to have two parents raise me for half of my life and teach me about racism in America and what it means to be black and they always made sure I was learning about my culture and the importance of uplifting others within the black community. SO my parents shop at black businesses, promote black history, and made sure I and my 4 other siblings had black doctors, from our primary care doctor to our dentist and it has shaped the way I am today being 18 years old in Chicago and wanting to become a doctor myself. I've always thought it was normal to have a black doctor but This Documentary has made me realize that isn't the case. And that needs to change.
